Salesperson Marlene was excellent in assisting us. She was very helpful and attentive to our needs. However, I was upset with the finance department. They ran my credit twice and my daughters credit without our permission, despite us specifically informing Marlene that we did not want this, as we were already qualified through our bank and had a certificate of check to provide. When I confronted the finance representative about this, he dismissed my concerns, saying it wouldn’t negatively impact my credit score. I felt belittled as a woman, and the entire experience left me feeling rushed while signing the contract. Additionally, we did not receive a hard copy of our contract or the credit report that had been run. I believe Marlene should not be held responsible for the actions of the finance team, as she had communicated my wishes clearly. When I emailed both him and the sales manager regarding this issue, I received no response from either of them. After purchasing a vehicle from your dealership for our daughter. I also chose to trade in our paid off 2022 Z71 Silverado at a different Chevrolet dealer due to my dissatisfaction with your finance department. Please ensure that your finance staff receives better training on how to treat customers.

This Dealership always is professional and very kind. I had my vehicle in for a transmission repair and was expecting a full replacement which would have been thousands of dollars. After the factory train technician Steve Gibbs looked at it was able to repair it at very fair price. My Service guy Damon Chero was very attentive and kept me informed the entire time. As a matter of fact is was inspected and repaired within just a couple of days. Thank you for another amazing service experience! I will always refer my friends and family to this dealership!

I had a check engine light on in my my car. Every dealership I called they were telling me it would take 3-4 business days to get a diagnostic test done on it. Who has that many days available to be without a car when you have to work!? Hayley got me in right away resolved my check engine light that was on, and got my recalls fixed! I was in and out in a few hours. It was nice working with a woman who was understanding and didn't belittle me for not having knowledge about what was wrong with my car. We definitely need more women working in the car industry, because some of these men treat us like we are less or stupid for not knowing what is wrong with our vehicle! I live in Indio, CA 1 hour and 25 minutes from your shop. The reason I make that drive, passing at least two other dealership in my area is due to the outstanding service I get from Dan Burrus. There is a dealership less than 15 minutes from my house and I have tried them once before however I know I can always trust Dan to take of not only me but my Z06. I just had my 100,000 mile check up on the Z06. My car is not a garage Queen but it does stay in the garage, AT NIGHT.

I had an 8:30 am Appnt for an oil change. I asked to have my left headlight checked also, and while dropping off the truck. The horn was malfunctioning. So they added that to the list of things to address. At approx. 1:30 pm I text the service advisor for an update. No reply. At approx. 3:30 I called for an update. Service advisor told me that they still had not gotten to the headlight and horn issue but that the truck needed a cabin air filter and right rear tire had a nail and needed to be patched. So I asked him if they addressed those two problems. He said no they needed for me to authorize it. So I said yes. Go ahead and replace filter and patch tire. (Issue I have is why didn’t the service advisor call to ask me for authorization earlier). I tell him to please come pick me up at home to go and pick up truck. I arrive at Tom bell a bit later in the evening and the truck is returned to me and the filter had not been replaced and tire still has nail in it. So I pay for oil change and leave. On drive home I try to use horn and it doesn’t work. So I called the service advisors and ask him if horn was disconnected or fuse removed. He says no. I get home and check and the fuse had been removed. Very bad customer service. Very incompetent handling of Appnt.

The Tom Bell sales staff went out of their way to ensure that I was able to get into the car that I wanted with the payments that I could afford. Damon was quick to greet me at my vehicle when I brought my car in for warranty work. He made note of all of the electrical bugs my car was experiencing, completed the initial visual inspection, made recommendations, wrote up my service agreement, and set up an onsite rental car for me. Damon made dropping off my vehicle quick and easy. In additional Damon kept me updated everyday until the service on my car was complete and it was ready to pick up. Since picking up my vehicle, all the repairs that were completed are functioning property.

I was pleased to get an appointment so quickly for my one of three free oil changes. I think it's phenomenal that I get 3 FREE oil changes in my first year with my new vehicle. I waited 2 hours from start to finish, nothing like the JiffyLube 15 minute wait that I'm accustomed too, but then this oil change was free. Anyhow, I got a bottle of water (yes, the water came at no charge as well) and sat down with a nice array of (mostly) women's magazines and I read the wait time away. During the first few moments of sitting in the waiting room, I received a text stating that if I had any questions about my vehicle's service status, I could just text and get an update. Smart!!I liked this type of service very much. The waiting area was clean and the chairs comfy. The only thing I don't like about Tom Bell Chevrolet Redlands is it's location. Ok, so it is rather convenient because it's right off the freeway but boy, it's cramped. I parked on the opposite side of the Service department and was instructed to drive around the block to get into the driveway leading to Service. I was directed to one of two lanes and asked to wait until it was my turn to pull in. Then, I was asked to reverse so that the vehicle in front of me could pull out. I had to be VERY CAREFUL not to hit the parked trucks behind me, as I said earlier this place is small and cramped. I'm not asking that you relocate (not a bad idea though) Tom Bell Redlands, but make some more space so we customers with wider vehicles can make it back out to the street. Aside from this inconsequential incident, I had a pleasant experience overall. Thank you!

My truck was taken in for diagnosis of my transmission and I thought I was going to hear something about it that day but they had my truck for 3 days before I called back to find out what’s going on with my truck, they need to call customers back when they find out what’s going on with the vehicle and if it’s going to take a few days to check out the vehicle they should let the customer know that now just hold the vehicle and wait for the customer to call.

The lady that greeted me as I pulled in was great very professional and nice. She asked who my advisor was and I said it’s Dan Burrus. Dan is one of the best service advisors I have ever worked with. Dan found that I had a recall item that needed attention and scheduled that to be completed along with my service. Dan kept me updated throughout my visit. All the staff were very friendly and asked if I needed anything while I was there waiting. My truck was supposed to have work done and I made a 9am appointment to ensure enough time was given. Theu failed to tell me my truck was beong driven all the way to Corona. My truck was kept over night, I was very upset but told my car would be ready for pickup first thing in the morning. I wasn't called until almost noon!!!! The work done wasn't great and the hole covers they placed on the bed liner keep popping off!!! Its ridiculous. I live in victorville and had to go back and forth twice for my truck. Now id have to make a third trip to have them look at the pieces that keep popping off. I honestly regret getting my truck from Tom Bell. Wish I had gone somewhere else. Its been a horrible experience.

Everything went well. Check in with smooth and my service person was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I did notice as I went to go have breakfast. A service tech was driving my truck to the back. When I got back, my truck was sitting in the parking lot. I got back in about an hour time. I waited another 15 minutes before I contacted my service person to ask him if my truck was done and it was. So my truck by what I could tell was sitting at least 20 minutes. And I was never made aware through text or in personthat my truck was ready for pick up. That’s the only thing I would change is somehow notifying the customer that their vehicle is done and ready for pick up

Horrible. My issue wasn’t resolved and still had to pay 230$ for an update to my infotainment center that is still not working. They said I should have paid for the diagnosis to see what was actually wrong, but then they were able to explain what was wrong by telling my father that the HMI cable was the problem. I would have had to pay another 470$ just to get it diagnosed to see what the problem was, but they know what the problem is. I’m also leaving a bad review on apple and google maps.

I took my truck to you for a simple recall—something that should’ve been quick and straightforward. Instead, it turned into a frustrating ordeal. I dropped my truck off early in the morning and heard nothing all day. I had to call them at the end of the day, only to be told it wouldn’t be ready until the following afternoon. No heads-up. No courtesy call. Just silence. Even worse, when I followed up the next day, the advisor didn’t even know the truck was ready. It had apparently been sitting there, finished, with no one bothering to let me know. To make matters worse, they tried to spin the delay by claiming it was an “extensive repair”—yet somehow it only amounted to 1.6 hours of billed labor. So which is it? This experience made it clear that at Tom Bell Chevrolet, customers are treated more like VIN numbers than people. I won’t be returning, and I’d strongly caution others to look elsewhere if they value clear communication and basic respect for their time.

Was easy to maintain contact with as we were working the deal while I was away from the dealership at work. His knowledge of cars especially performance cars Is outstanding. It is worth noting that once in the finance box a discussion was had as to what OTD means... OTD does not mean the price after whatever down payment is put down. OTD is the price "Out The Door" , the final price. Not including interest incurred over the duration of the loan obviously. This was my first time experiencing a dealership service as I always bought cash cars in the past. When I first arrived to the dealership about my 2024 Chevy Malibu, I was met by an extremely kind lady in the front to check in. She really calmed me down as my check engine light was on and I was panicking. She reassured me that my car would be taken care of. When I got to the lobby, I was met by a man and was immediately seen. I knew I had warranty on my car, but I was not sure what would be covered so I brought my warranty in and showed him. I let him know that I would be needing a rental car to continue to work in order to pay for the service. He then told me that the service will take two days to diagnose so I would have to call the warranty company itself and seek a rental car that way. So I did, and after being on hold for hours, they told me that without the diagnosis they could not provide a rental car. At this time, the man had already sent us in a Lyft to enterprise to pick up a rental car. Well, I had forgotten my house keys on the keys that I left with them so I called the dealership back. This is when I spoke with another woman who listen to me completely and change the whole trajectory of the situation. She got us a Lyft back to the dealership so that I can pick up my keys and provided us a rental car. I was so stressed about this whole situation and she helped me in ways that she doesn’t even know. Just by showing the gentle kindness that she did made everything better. My warranty covered the service, but I also needed an oil change and she was able to add that service on and have it taken care of by the time the service was finished. This made my life so much better. I was able to continue to work with my clients and get paid for those days. I am so thankful for her and the people at Chevy who helped me and my child continue to work and do what we have to do.

Took forever to get the part. Took 3 days to install and the service manager I got never returns calls. Asked for a set of front floor mats for all the wait, service manager said I had enough reward points for them so I log into the website he told me to go to and have no reward points. Asked for them to wash my truck before I pick it up and there was greasy hand marks all over the inside of the truck was covered in dirt.

Service advisor Bryan was friendly but pushed harder to add additional services than I was used to with other advisors. If I want to add additional services I would ask. Doubted me when I said I already had a service performed, went through my entire service history as if he was trying to prove me wrong. Also, bring back the complimentary car wash, your service price is already higher than Diamond Chevrolet, at least make the higher price worth it. On the plus side, parts dept. staff (blonde lady) is very friendly and did a great job.

Well I went in on the 21st of July and was told they would get to it in 2 or 3 days. July 31 I tried calling for status and one would answer my calls . On Aug. 1st I went to the dealer and they told me my service person no longer works there. I was given another service person Henry who was very helpful. Henry told me it was just the battery and can we replace and recheck codes, and would I be able to leave it to Monday. On Monday morning I got a call from Henry saying my car was ready for pick up. My engine light went on on my 2017 Chevy Volt. Went to Napa Auto and got the code P1E100. Called the Tom Bell Chevy in Redlands and tried to talk to someone. Kept getting disconnected while I waited on hold. Finally resorted to using AI. Made me an appt for a 5:15 pm appt the next day. I got up in the am and tried calling again. After several attempts reach a person who told me they are closed at 5 pm so not sure why I was scheuuled for 5:15 pm. Rescheduled for Monday, Aug 4 at 8:15 am. Met Henry that day and he was VERY nice and helpful. He told me they would need to keep the car for a few days. He called a few days later stating they do not know what is wrong with the car and they have to reach out for help. Then he called back a few days later and said the people they reached out (IT people? can't remember) said they can't find anything. So he told me what was recommended for my car and I did a few of the items but could not afford to do all of them since it would be over $1,200. They did all that, disconnected the battery to reset the engine light and I picked up the car 5 days later and paid $835. Drove it home then the next day the engine light came back on. Took it to Napa Auto for a reading and these codes came up :P0964, P0AC4. So I'm so upset. Bringing the car back in on Monday, Aug 18. So many people have told me not to bring it into a dealership but I am putting my trust into you one last time.

I have already sent an email of the services I received in a nut shell the parts were in good shape and the eng. detail very good. However how the services was handled semi satisfactory and for a warranty work I spent a bit of money that could have been avoided. The personnel were kind and professional. I received my truck was abnormally dirty on the exterior, I left a rather clean truck. On going issues starting Aug 4 and STILL not resolved to this day. Brought my 2017 Chevy Volt into the service dept because my engine light was on. Was told a week later that they could not find anything wrong with my car and disconnected the battery to reset the system. Paid a service bill of $835.76. Which $230 was to diagnosed and they found nothing then they did transmission fluid exchange which cost $401.97. Engine light went back on so I brought the car back on on Aug 18, 2025. Service dept once again said they could not figure out what was wrong. Finally called on Aug 29, 11 days later, to tell me I need a new transmission and it will cost $14,000. I said no I will not pay that. Henry told me he could ask if the factory and see if they would help pay for a portion of the cost of the transmission. He called and said they would pay $6,000. I still said no. I then asked for my $400 back since I just paid to have the transmission serviced and now they are saying I need a new one. Then he called on Sept 5 and said the district manager was in their dealership and they brought up my car and "she" (not sure who she is) said to submit this issue to the district and they may be able to fix for $1,000 but I would not be able to get my $400 refunded. Now I am suspicious of this whole situation. How on earth do you go from $14,000 to $1,000 for a transmission. I said yes and Henry said he would let me know. I have texted and called Henry on Sept 9, 11, 12 and just today to find out. I do not have a car and am desperate to know if they will fix for $1,000 or if I need to get a new car. Now I don't think I will EVER even buy another Chevy vehicle again after all these issues. I'm so frustrated and upset.

The one thing I recognized was the lack of attentiveness of the service writers who were not assigned to my order or other customers. My wife experienced a very dangerous situation with the vehicle just turning off on her and the only answer i got was that it was a bad battery. A battery which I got charged double the price of what a battery costs. The vehicle should not have just turned off out of nowhere in a middle of a drive. Luckily she came to a stoplight when it happened, if it would have happened on the freeway in the middle of the night it could have been a deadly situation.

As you drive in and check there is a very nice lady that greets you and calls your service advisor. I had my vehicle in 2 days in a row, 1st day for oil change and a few other things. 2day for tires. Both days after I picked up my vehicle there were an additional 30 miles on my vehicle. Since it was at the dealership being serviced and there was no reason to test drive I find it very concerning that 60 miles was put on my vehicle in two days of service while at the service department.

Communication by my advisor was poor. I had to make the calls to get an update rather than being called by the advisor due to my vehicle being worked on for 5 days. I was also told in the beginning that my ac belt needed to be replaced but not necessary at the time since we are in the colder months of the year. When my wife was ready to pay for the initial service she was told the belt needed replacing with immediate urgency or damage would occur to the system. Nothing like being pressured for more service at the time of payment. Not a very positive experience!

Purchased a new vehicle, there was no inspection done on the vehicle. It has scratches all around the glossy trim and the hood was not opened and inspected. It's disappointing that sales is only interested in selling the vehicle and would not step up to fix any problems after. I haven't been able to drive the vehicle and have to wait till mid January to take it to service at a local dealer. The local dealer will not make the fixes pertaining to scratches on the glossy trim and defects to interior door panels. I'm using uber to go around and borrowing cars when can to go to work.

Offered a one-time brake fix (new pads and rotors) on a NEW truck.. Brake warranty only lasts 7500 miles.. WOW! Blamed it on not being able to use copper in the brake pads anymore, but why doesn't every new car on the road have loud squeaking brakes??? Brakes continue to squeak from the first day with 'new' brakes. Three service visits and three terrible unsatisfied trips. DO NOT buy from Tom Bell and if you do, DO NOT take your vehicle here for service.
